Clementine's life turned upside down last week. This wealthy aristocrat was living a life of luxury until soldiers of the Revolution came to arrest her at her home. She was taken to the dungeons where she suffered horrible treatments and unimaginable tortures. Then she was brought to trial, completely naked in a crowded courtroom. Chained and gagged, poor Clementine was unable to defend herself and was sentenced to 50 lashes in public and the death penalty. Back in her cell, she can't help but burst into tears. At sunrise, she will be mounted on a cart which will take her to the city's Grand'Place. She will then be whipped, humiliated, then tied up on the board before being slipped under the guillotine...
